My name is Maile Alicia Mokihana Lono-Batura. I am among the 3rd generation of Kikaha & Margaret Lono. My father is Steven Hilo Hanakahi Lono, who is featured in the pilot video. I’m not a film student, I know very little about actual video production and mastery (and you’ll notice this in the videos here). What I am, is a person who is rooted in culture and passionate about capturing these living histories for our future generations. Knowing where you come from can serve as a guidepost in life.
